Pickleball Has Arrived In Whistler

"This past weekend Whistler Tennis successfully hosted two pickleball events as part of their GO Fest weekend. The first was a Quick Start to Pickleball clinic Saturday with 12 new or fairly new pickleball participants.
This was followed on Sunday by an all level mixer tournament with 30 participants with many of the Saturday new players participating and six 4.0 + players travelling just for this event.
As Whistler is a 'destination' people from away attended both the Saturday clinic, a PoCo husband wife duo, and the Sunday tournament, one team from Penticton and another from Kamloops.
Future Whistler Tennis events include a Pickleball Rules Clinic, tentative date June 11, a Teach the Teacher session confirmed June 14 (couple spaces still available - see our Clinics page), additional all level clinics June 15 and 16 on request. Soon to be announced will be tournament dates for mid July and mid August.
