Partnerships with
- Individual members - either through local Affiliated Club membership or direct application to Pickleball BC (PBC) via the Pickleball Canada (PCO) website. More information/apply here.
- Affiliated Clubs - localized groups of players that join with a common objective of promoting and playing pickleball together. Such groups usually form a 'club' of varying formality and sign a cooperative agreement with PBC, which includes a requirement that all the members of the club must join PBC and PCO. Signing the standard agreement, which includes a few other conditions, entitles the Club to Affiliated status. There is no fee for a club to become affiliated.
- Associated Organizations - this type of relationship fosters mutual promotion and pickleball play opportunities with multi dimensional organizations, such as private multi sport clubs, educational institutions and some service clubs. The Associated Organization is to encourage their member pickleball players to join PBC and PCO. Here also there is the formality of a cooperative agreement, with a nominal charge levied to the Associated Organization. The fee is currently (2021) set at $50 per annum.
- Sponsors - this category covers many businesses either for profit or not for profit that either wish to just support the promotion of pickleball or have products or services on offer that they wish to promote to the pickleball community. These advertising opportunities manifest themselves, at various $ rates, in the form of ad spots on the PBC website or the PBC monthly Newsletter. More information here.
