How to guide
The process of joining or renewing your membership in a local pickleball club is completed through the Pickleball Canada National System.
Whether joining as a new Pickleball Canada (PCO) member or renewing your current membership, follow the red "JOIN NOW!" link below.
Pick the appropriate Province and local club you wish to join from the subsequent drop-down menus.
Depending upon how the club has been set up, you may have to click on yet another Join-Renew button, or you may be directed automatically to the Club Registration form.
If you are new to PCO, choose that option:
If you are Renewing or Joining a club as a current PCO member the process is similar, but first click in the box saying 'Click to look up your membership' and complete the form presented to you asking for your Province, Name, Gender and Year of Birth. If the PCNS can find a current registration, it will fill in some of your personal details on the registration form. Then proceed as above to complete your registration and pay your annual dues.
Joining Additional Clubs?
Once you have completed the process to join a club you have a couple of options if you want to join an additional club. At the very end of the process, when your transaction detail is displayed on the screen, you will see a Green Banner stating 'Do you want to join an additional club?' You can click on this and immediately begin the process to choose the Province and Club you want to add to your registrations and fill out the registration form for that club. This may invoke local club fees and an additional provincial fee if the province is 'new' to you but not a re-assessment of the PCO fee.
If you decide to join another club at a later date, you need to follow the New-Renew process. As before, this may invoke local club fees and an additional provincial fee if the province is 'new' to you but not a re-assessment of the PCO fee.
Home Club vs. 'Other Clubs'
Within your membership profile with PCO, the last club you have joined is listed as your 'Home Club' and currently that is only used for our record keeping purposes. Your name will still appear on the roster of every individual club you join, and each of these clubs will have full ability to contact you and keep you informed of local events and issues. The ability for you as an individual to change your 'Home' Club will be added soon, and if necessary, the PBC Registrar can change that setting upon request
