PICKLEBALLBC encourages all communities to establish local clubs or associations. These local clubs and associations are encouraged to affiliate with PICKLEBALLBC and Pickleball Canada to help grow and promote this fun sport for all ages and abilities.

- Our priority is to create a provincial structure that reflects the diverse needs of players province wide.
- To create and maintain communication opportunities with and for members.
- To promote the growth of clubs and organizations across BC.
- To advocate for and encourage the development of Club, Provincial and National rating systems.
- To adopt and implement a software program to facilitate membership registrations, payment disbursements and membership communications.
- Support the development of a Canadian referee curriculum and educational process.
- Support the development of a Canadian, Western Canadian and BC tournament structure.
- To continue to update and maintain the PICKLEBALLBC website.

- A PICKLEBALLBC website that will act as a catalyst to support players through informative content and the promotion of tournaments, clinics, leagues and other related events.
- Pickleball Canada membership.
- Access to Third Party General Liability and Medical Insurance.
- Advice on club start-up.
- Support for the development of coaches, referees and training resources for all levels of play.
- Encourage and promote the need for a player ratings system at the Club, Provincial and National levels.
- Introduction of the game to schools and other organizations.
- Support for the process of being a provincially recognized sport.
- Support for an organization that actively encourages tournament infrastructure.
- Support for resource development to support and guide municipalities in infrastructure development.
- Support for an organization interested in making BC a leader in Canadian pickleball.
Affiliated Organizations:
At this time we are affiliated with the following organizations.
- PICKLEBALLBC is the official representative of the Pickleball Canada Organization (PCO) in BC. We will encourage and enable PICKLEBALLBC members to become PCO members.
- PICKLEBALLBC has a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the BC Senior’s Games Society (BCSGS) and we work collaboratively to promote pickleball among seniors.
- We adopt, support and follow the International Federation of Pickleball (IFP) rules.
- We collaborate with the many pickleball clubs and organizations across BC.
