New Courts For Cowichan Lake

Phase 1 complete - Cowichan Lake, Vancouver Island

The construction of 6 new outdoor courts is underway in Cowichan Lake on Vancouver Island. 
Phase 1 is complete with the installation of new fencing that divides the courts.  Five gates have been installed for easy access to the courts with minimal interruption of play.
Phase 2 will commence May 18th with the installation of the posts for the nets and power washing of the courts in preparation for the resurfacing
Phase 3 – level the court surfaces where required to remove dips (reduce water pooling) and repair surface where necessary  - week of May 25
Phase 4 – resurface courts with silicon based paint – week of May 25. 
Target for completion is June 1 but is weather dependent and with minimal construction delays. More information here.
