Pickleball BC Association’s (“PBCA”) New Associated Partner Organization (“APO”) Program and New Affiliated Clubs Sign Up
Thursday, May 28th 2026, Vancouver, BC—PBCA’s early pickleball clubs that joined as Affiliated Clubs were non-profit and typically dedicated only to pickleball. However, due to today’s vast pickleball demand by communities, for-profit facilities are burgeoning. Through our new Associated Partner Program partnership, APOs gain recognition as part of PBCA’s 108+ Clubs and Associated Partners, access to Sanctioned tournaments, compliant coach and referee accreditation training, communications, conflict resolution resources and other PBCA membership benefits, while remaining responsible for their own facilities, members, and compliance with pickleball governance standards. Benefits of Being a PBCA Associated Partner Organization (“APO”)
“The PBCA Board has embraced and extended our official partnerships to include multi-sport or pickleball-dedicated for-profit BC pickleball facilities. As the demand for our wonderful sport has outstripped what municipalities and private clubs can provide, new courts are being built to address the demands of our pickleball community, including for-profit facilities across British Columbia. This is a good development for our BC pickleball community and we embrace it.”, says PBCA President David Snell.
