On National Pickleball Day, Saturday, August 12th, the recently formed Delta Pickleball Club will be holding a grand opening of 3 dedicated pickleball courts located at Memorial Park, 5010 47th Avenue. The Mayor and other dignitaries will be holding an official opening ceremony at 10:00 am. The plan for the 5 hour day is, after the opening, to show folks what the game is about and have teachers, paddles, balls, etc. for everyone to try out this great sport.
